Entry Guidelines

Eligibility:

1. Aspen Filmfest seeks entries demonstrating originality, creativity, integrity and technical excellence in their approach to their subject matter and to the art of feature cinema.
2. Entries must be a minimum of 40 minutes in length, completed since January of 2009, and submitted in one of the following categories: Animation, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Children/Family or Other.
3. Entries must be available for screening during festival dates (Sept 29 - Oct 3, 2010) in 35mm film print or videotape in one of following formats: HDcam (1080/59.94i or 29.97PsF), Beta SP (NTSC) or DigiBeta (NTSC).
4. Non-English language films must be subtitled in English, or contain minimal dialog.
5. Entries previously submitted to either Aspen Filmfest cannot be considered for Aspen Filmfest 2010.
6. Late Entries: If you are unable to meet the July 18th deadline, please call the festival office at (+1 970) 925-6882 and tell us of your intent to send a late entry.

Notification:

1. To verify Filmfest has received your preview media shipment, send by "registered" mail or trackable shipping courier, or include a self-addressed postcard. Please do not call or email the office.
2. All other entrants will notified of AFF selection decision in mid-August. 3. entry materials such as preview media or press kits cannot be returned.
